Sanju Samson left for Zimbabwe tour, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s place retained
India Zimbabwe: The Indian cricket team is currently on England tour and is playing a 5-match T20I series. After this series, both the teams will face each other in the ODI series. The Indian team will tour Zimbabwe after finishing the England tour. A 3-match T20I series will be played between the two on this tour. In such a situation, BCCI has announced the Indian team for the T20I series against Zimbabwe.
Actually, the selectors have taken two big decisions simultaneously regarding the next 2 series of the Indian cricket team. On one hand, the team has been announced for the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. On the other hand, important changes have been made in the team even before the ODI series against England. The most talked about thing is about young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has been retained in the team even on the Zimbabwe tour. Ashok Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh and Yash Thakur have been selected in the Indian team for the first time. At the same time, experienced wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson has been shown the way out of the team.

BCCI has selected a 15-member team for the Zimbabwe tour. This three-match T20I series will be played in Harare. The command of the team has been handed over to Shreyas Iyer, while Tilak Verma has been made the vice-captain. Apart from Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Shivam Dubey, Suryansh Shedge, Rinku Singh, Harsh Dubey, Varun Chakraborty, Prince Yadav, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Mayank Yadav and Prabhsimran Singh have also been included in the team. Ishan Kishan and Prabhsimran Singh will handle the responsibility of wicketkeeper. Sanju Samson’s non-selection was the biggest talking point of this team. Sanju, who was part of the T20I team recently, did not get a chance this time, whereas the selectors have expressed confidence in the young players.

Meanwhile, the selection committee has also made changes in the team for the ODI series against England. Shivam Dubey has been included in the Indian ODI team in place of all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy.
