On this occasion, a seminar and tree plantation program was organized by BJP Nagar Mandal in Lavkush Vatika. The program was inaugurated by MLA Sanjeev Beniwal by planting a sapling. Everyone pledged to fulfill their responsibilities towards environmental protection.

In his address, MLA Sanjeev Beniwal said that the life of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is a symbol of patriotism, sacrifice and dedication. He said that environmental protection has become the biggest need of the present time. In view of the ever increasing pollution, climate change and decreasing green area, every citizen should plant trees and also take regular care of the planted plants. He said that it is not enough to just plant trees, but it is also the collective responsibility of the society to preserve them till they become trees.

During the program, BJP workers and forest department officials also planted saplings and appealed to the people to plant as many trees as possible. In the seminar, the speakers highlighted in detail the life of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, his political contribution, the struggle for national unity and his important role in the establishment of Bharatiya Jana Sangh. The people present paid tribute to his portrait by offering flowers.
