On this occasion, a seminar and tree plantation program was organized by BJP Nagar Mandal in Lavkush Vatika. The program was inaugurated by MLA Sanjeev Beniwal by planting a sapling. Everyone pledged to fulfill their responsibilities towards environmental protection.

In his address, MLA Sanjeev Beniwal said that the life of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is a symbol of patriotism, sacrifice and dedication. They “One Nation, One Constitution, One Sign” Gave his supreme sacrifice for the principle of freedom and kept the unity and integrity of the country paramount. His thoughts even today inspire every Indian to work in the national interest. The MLA said that the new generation should play an active role in the development of the country by taking inspiration from Dr. Mukherjee’s ideals and nationalist ideology.

He said that environmental protection has become the biggest need of the present time. In view of the ever increasing pollution, climate change and decreasing green area, every citizen should plant trees and also take regular care of the planted plants. He said that it is not enough to just plant trees, but it is also the collective responsibility of the society to preserve them till they become trees.

During the program, BJP workers and forest department officials also planted saplings and appealed to the people to plant as many trees as possible. In the seminar, the speakers highlighted in detail the life of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, his political contribution, the struggle for national unity and his important role in the establishment of Bharatiya Jana Sangh. The people present paid tribute to his portrait by offering flowers.

In the program, emphasis was also laid on making environmental protection a mass movement. Speakers said that tree plantation should not be just a formal event but it is necessary to make it a part of the regular lifestyle of the society. This will provide the basis for a clean environment, better water conservation and a healthy life for the coming generations.
