According to the information received, the explosion took place near the hotel where Macron was staying. However, security sources say that President Macron did not hear the sounds of the explosion. Macron also met Syrian President Ahmed Al Shaara.

The sound of the explosion was also heard in the surrounding areas and smoke was seen billowing out. After this blast, roads have been closed and strict security arrangements have been made.
