Bhavnagar. A hair-raising video from Garajiya village located in Palitana Taluka of Bhavnagar district of Gujarat is going viral fast, which can leave anyone breathless. Last Monday morning, when a farmer Kalubhai Parmar was going to give fodder to his cattle, a young lioness suddenly attacked him from behind and threw him on the ground.

The lioness placed one of her feet on the body of farmer Kalubhai Parmar and sat on him for about half an hour. The shepherd showed amazing patience in this very scary moment. He lay absolutely still and kept caressing the lioness without making any aggressive movements so that she would not get angry. Ultimately, after a lot of noise from the villagers, the lioness moved away from there. The farmer suffered only minor injuries from the lion’s nails and has been admitted to the hospital, where his condition is completely out of danger.

For about 30 minutes he was seen trying to free himself from the lioness. However, it is a matter of relief that the farmer’s life was saved in this incident. According to forest officials, the condition of the farmer is stable and he is out of danger. The farmer later revealed while talking to the media that how even after 30 minutes he escaped alive from the clutches of the lioness?
Forest officer said – provoked the lioness, then she attacked
Movement of wildlife is common in the area where this incident took place. Shetruji Wildlife Division officer Chirag Amin later said that the matter is being investigated. According to initial reports, it looks like people may have provoked the lioness, due to which she became aggressive and attacked the farmer. Injured Parmar has been admitted to a hospital in Bhavnagar and his condition is now out of danger. Amin said the lion has been identified as a semi-adult male lioness and an operation is being conducted to capture it.
While talking to the media, Kalubhai Parmar revealed how he survived from the clutches of the lioness. He gave detailed information about the incident. Said that I had gone to feed my cow in the morning. The lion was sitting there and suddenly he attacked me. He threw me on the ground and caught my hand in his jaws. He held my hand for about half an hour. When he loosened his grip, I ran away from there. According to forest officials, the farmer did not lose courage even after being caught in the clutches of the lion. He remained calm and waited for the lion to make a mistake. Parmar later said that he did not make any movement and remained calm despite feeling scared inside. He was able to survive due to the extraordinary courage and wisdom of the farmer.
