Road caved in on Delhi-Jaipur highway

Gurugram: The rain in Gurugram on Tuesday exposed the claims of the administration. The traffic system was disrupted due to road subsidence on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. Because of this the route had to be diverted. The main road near Narsinghpur was blocked due to subsidence. According to the information, due to rain, there was long traffic jam at many places in Gurugram. There is a long traffic jam from Rajiv in Gurugram to Kherki Dhaula toll plaza.

There is a long jam on Delhi Gurugram Expressway. There is a long traffic jam on both sides of the Gurugram-Jaipur highway. Thousands of vehicles are stuck in the jam. There is a jam several kilometers long on Delhi Jaipur Highway. Due to the jam, people are facing difficulty in going home from office. Vehicles are moving crawling on the road.

Traffic police issued advisory

In view of security, the traffic police has made changes on the Delhi to Jaipur route. Police has appealed to the drivers that the vehicles going from Rajiv Chowk should now turn left and use ‘SPR Road’.
Passengers going from Hero Honda Chowk should proceed towards their destination via ‘SPR Road’. To go from Delhi to Jaipur, drivers should use the ‘Dwarka Expressway’ route. Due to waterlogging and road subsidence, before traveling on the highway, check the route only.
Gurugram Police issued a traffic advisory saying that due to sudden heavy rain on July 7, 2026, the main road on NH 48, the main road from Delhi to Jaipur, has caved in near Narsinghpur. Therefore, turn left from Rajiv Chowk and use SPR Road.
Advisory for drivers going from Delhi towards Jaipur

Take left turn from Hero Honda Chowk and proceed towards your destination using SPR Road.
Drivers will travel towards their destination using the Dwarka Expressway from Delhi.
