Ram temple offering controversy: BJP leader Dinesh Sharma said – strict action will be taken against the culprits, Congress raised questions on the government and trust.

On one hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has assured strict action against the culprits, while the Congress has raised questions on the government and the trust, demanding impartial investigation and accountability in the matter.

BJP leader Dinesh Sharma said that the party has a clear opinion that whoever is found involved in corruption or any kind of irregularity, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) will investigate against him. After investigation, the culprits will be arrested and further action will be taken as per law.

He said, “The sanctity of the Ram temple and the faith of crores of devotees is paramount. If anyone has committed irregularities in the offerings, strict legal action should be taken against him. But it is not politically appropriate to tarnish the construction of the entire temple and the faith of crores of people on the basis of the alleged actions of a few people.”

At the same time, in Saharanpur, Congress leader Imran Masood targeted the government and said that if there are irregularities in Ram temple donations, then the government cannot escape its responsibility. He said, “Looting is happening right under your nose. Before sharing the pain of others, fulfill your responsibility. Wherever trusts are formed in the country, audit is done, then why not here? The government is also responsible for this.”

Pramod Tiwari raised questions on BJP and Trust

On the same issue, senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari also cornered the BJP and the Trust and said that the suspicions he already had in his mind now seem to be proven correct. He questioned Champat Rai’s statement and said that how can anyone know who is guilty and who is not before the investigation is completed. He said that if any person is found guilty then he should be given strict punishment as per law. Political allegations and counter-allegations regarding the Ram temple offering controversy are continuously increasing. While BJP is talking about limiting it to the culprits, Congress is demanding a transparent investigation and accountability of the entire matter.
