Iran-America tension at its peak again! Was the agreement broken? Trump said – there is no point in talks now

Washington/Tehran. The interim agreement between Iran and America to stop the war has now reached the verge of breaking. US President Donald Trump has clearly said that for him this agreement is now over and further talks with Tehran are a waste of time. Trump is currently attending the NATO summit held in Turkey. After his statement, the military tension between the two countries has once again intensified, increasing the possibility of a new conflict in the entire West Asia.

America carried out major air strikes on Iran-
The US launched a large-scale military operation in the southern part of Iran, targeting military bases located in Bandar Abbas, Serik and Qeshm Islands. Washington claims that this action was taken in response to attacks on merchant ships near the Strait of Hormuz. America has also withdrawn concessions related to Iranian oil exports.

Iran’s counterattack, tension increased in the region-
Following the US attacks, Iran took retaliatory military action in the direction of Bahrain and Kuwait. After this incident, serious questions have been raised on the already implemented ceasefire and peace talks. The security situation across West Asia has again become tense.

Trump said- Now there is no point in talks-
Donald Trump said that now there is no use of any kind of talks with Iran. They allege that if Iran has nuclear weapons, it will not shy away from using them. Although he also said that American officials can continue the talks if they want, but they do not expect any positive result from it.

America’s argument behind the attacks-
According to American officials, the air strikes this time were four to five times bigger and more powerful than before. The US says this action was taken in response to alleged attacks on merchant ships in the Strait of Hormuz, behind which it has attributed Iran’s role.

Iran gave strict warning-
Iran has reacted strongly, calling the US action a violation of the interim agreement. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the US of breaking the terms of the deal by reimposing an oil embargo, interfering in maritime affairs and attacking southern Iran.

The Iranian military also warned that a befitting reply would be given to the American attacks. The army said that the right to take decisions on maritime movement in the Strait of Hormuz belongs only to Iran and any outside interference will not be accepted.

Increased concern in West Asia-
The increasing military confrontation between the two countries has increased the fear of instability throughout West Asia. Experts believe that if the situation is not resolved soon, it may affect the global oil market, international trade and regional security.
