Chief Minister Teachers Cashless Medical Scheme launched, teachers will get health protection cover
Ambedkarnagar. The inauguration program of Chief Minister Teacher Cashless Medical Scheme was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium in the dignified presence of Chief Guest Vice President State Women Commission Aparna Yadav, MLA Katehari Dharamraj Nishad, President District Panchayat Shyam Sundar Verma alias Sadhu Verma, District Magistrate Isha Priya, Chief Development Officer Anand Kumar Shukla and Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Jyotsna Bandhu and BJP District President Dilip Dev Patel. On this occasion, live telecast of the main program organized by Honorable Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath from Lucknow was seen and heard.
During the program, the Honorable Chief Minister made many important announcements for the welfare of the teachers of the state. By launching the Chief Minister Teacher Cashless Medical Scheme, he provided a new shield of health protection to teachers and their dependents. Besides, an amount of ₹ 1200 per student was transferred through DBT to the accounts of parents of 1.10 crore students of the state for uniforms, shoes, socks, sweaters, bags and stationery. Apart from this, with the aim of ensuring social security of about 10 lakh teachers and contractual employees, an MoU was also signed with State Bank of India.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Mrs. Aparna Yadav said that the Chief Minister Teacher Cashless Medical Scheme will prove to be a strong shield of health security for the teachers of the state. He said that the benefits of the scheme will be available to teachers of government, non-government aided, recognized, Sanskrit, self-financed and vocational schools of Basic and Secondary Education Department, special teachers (CWSN), instructors, wardens of Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools, full-time and part-time teachers, cooks of PM Nutrition Scheme and their dependents.
He said that this scheme is a proof of the state government’s commitment towards the respect and welfare of teachers. Also, through DBT, the amount earmarked for the students has been sent directly to the accounts of the parents, so that the necessary educational materials will be available to the children on time.

He appealed to all the teachers and parents that no child in the age group of 6 to 14 years should be deprived of education. He appealed to the parents of the children to enroll all the children in schools and send them to school regularly in the prescribed uniform. He said that education is the cornerstone of development and teachers play the most important role in building the future of children. Cooks of PM Poshan Yojana will also benefit from this scheme.
During the program, symbolic cards were distributed by the Chief Guest to teachers, instructors and cooks under the Chief Minister Teacher Cashless Medical Scheme. Along with this, the headmasters of the schools which had the highest number of enrollments in the first phase of the School Chalo campaign in the district were honored by providing them with vests and certificates.
On this occasion, three cooks who performed excellently in the district level cooking competition were honored with certificates and garments. The five best proficient students of the district were garlanded and encouraged by providing bags, textbooks and other educational materials. During the program, drumstick plants were also distributed among the teachers, cooks and parents present.
After the program, the chief guest along with public representatives and officials flagged off the publicity vehicle and awareness rally of the School Chalo campaign from the Collectorate premises. In the Drumstick Bhandara organized on this occasion, drumstick saplings were distributed to a large number of parents, teachers and cooks. District Basic Education Officer Dr. Poonam Mishra, Education Department officials, Principals, teachers, employees, cooks and a large number of parents were present in the program.
