New Stealth Edition of Harrier and Safari— Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has officially launched the new Stealth Edition of its popular SUVs Harrier and Safari in the domestic market. The company has introduced this new edition based on the top and premium trims of these vehicles. Now this special edition will be available to the customers in regular volume, giving SUV enthusiasts a new and dark muscular option.

On which variants is the new edition based?

Tata Motors has informed that this new Stealth Edition is based on the Fearless Ultra of Harrier and Accomplished Ultra variants of Safari respectively. This special edition of both these SUVs has been made available to the customers in both petrol and diesel engine options. Earlier, the company had launched the Stealth Edition of these models in the market only in limited numbers (limited volume), but in view of the increasing demand, it has now been made a part of the permanent portfolio.

What is the price of this new edition?

Talking about the price, the Stealth Edition of 2026 Tata Harrier and Safari has been launched with a premium price tag. The ex-showroom prices of both the vehicles are as follows:

• TATA Harrier Stealth Edition: Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs 23.43 lakh and goes up to Rs 26.01 lakh.
• TATA Safari Stealth Edition: The price of Stealth Edition of this three-row (3-Row) SUV has been fixed between Rs 24.09 lakh to Rs 26.76 lakh.

What has changed in design and features?

There are many major changes at the cosmetic level in this special edition which make it different from the standard model. The exterior of the vehicle has been completely given Matte Stealth Black finish. Apart from this, special ‘Stealth’ badging has been given on the front fenders. Although the design of its 19-inch alloy wheels is the same as the Dark and Red-Dark Edition, but they have been given a special matte black treatment.

Talking about the interior, a completely all-black theme has been used inside the cabin. Premium Carbon Noir leatherette seats have been installed in the vehicles. Along with this, a bright bejewelled dial is available to control the terrain response system. On the features front, both these vehicles are fully loaded. These:

• 13-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos support

Engine and power performance

There are no mechanical changes on the engine front. The Stealth Edition of Tata Harrier and Safari comes with the existing engines only. The first option is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol direct injection engine which generates 170hp power and 280Nm torque. The other option is a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine which produces 170hp power and 350Nm peak torque. Both these engines have the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
