Bankipur by-election: BJP now made Neeraj Kumar Sinha its candidate, changed candidate after Abhishek Bunty’s withdrawal
New Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded a new candidate for the Bankipur assembly by-election in Bihar. The party has made Neeraj Kumar Sinha its candidate. Earlier declared candidate Abhishek Kumar Sinha ‘Bunty’ had withdrawn his nomination citing family reasons. After his name was withdrawn, BJP immediately decided to change the candidate. Now Neeraj Kumar Sinha will contest from BJP on Bankipur assembly seat. With the announcement of the new candidate by the party, the election contest on this seat has become more interesting. BJP’s Neeraj Kumar Sinha from Bankipur will mainly face Prashant Kishor of Jan Suraj Party and Rekha Gupta of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

Who is BJP’s new candidate Neeraj Sinha?

Neeraj Sinha is the President of Narendra Bharti Mandal. He is unmarried and his age is around 28 years. Neeraj is a resident of Patna and has been associated with BJP for almost two decades. He has been the District Vice President of BJYM and the Mandal President twice. He has studied till BA.
This was announced on Friday by BJP’s national general secretary and headquarters in-charge Arun Singh. According to the list of candidates released by BJP, Neeraj Kumar Sinha will contest from 182-Bankipur assembly seat of Bihar. Apart from this, Ashutosh Tiwari has been declared candidate from 22-Datia assembly seat of Madhya Pradesh.
