INS Mahendragiri now included in Navy, India’s strength in sea increased

Indian Navy has now become even more powerful. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has inducted the warship named Indian Naval Ship (INS) Mahendragiri into the Navy in a special program in Visakhapatnam. This is the sixth and last warship built under Project 17A. With the arrival of this ship, India’s security at sea has become much stronger than before and now the Navy is more prepared to face any kind of difficulty.

This ship has been built by ‘Mazgaon Dock’ company. Its weight is about 6,670 tonnes and it can move at a speed of 52 kilometers per hour in water. The biggest feature of this ship is that it does not come into the enemy’s radar quickly. It is adept at doing many things simultaneously. It is fully capable of stopping attacks from the sky, fighting enemy ships and finding and eliminating enemy submarines hidden under water. This ship is a great proof of India’s own technology and growing strength.
