The work of preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Ghaziabad-Jewar Namo Bharat Corridor is underway. This entire corridor will be 72.44 kilometers long. According to media reports, the route will start from Ghaziabad and pass through various sectors of Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority and reach Noida International Airport in Jewar.

How much will it cost?

Shalabh Goyal said that this corridor will pass through those areas where rapid urban and industrial development is taking place. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 20,640 crore. 12 stations will be built on the entire corridor. Two depots will also be built at both its ends. This will be the fourth Namo Bharat Regional Rapid Transit Corridor of NCR. The corridor will be designed according to the maximum speed of 150 kilometers per hour.

Namo Bharat will stop at these stations

There will be a total of 12 stations in the proposed corridor. These include Ghaziabad, Ghaziabad South, Greater Noida West Sector-4, Greater Noida West Sector-2, Knowledge Park-5, Surajpur, Pari Chowk, Ecotech-6, Dankaur, Yamuna City Sector-18, Sector-21 and Noida Airport.

There will be connectivity with Haryana also

According to NCRTC, work on DPR of Noida-Faridabad-Gurugram Namo Bharat Corridor has also started. With the construction of this new network, transportation between the rapidly developing cities of NCR will become easier. Especially people traveling from Noida to Faridabad and Gurugram will get the option of fast and convenient public transport.
