New Zealand women praised
In his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the role of New Zealand women and said that India has changed itself according to the times in every era and the biggest reason for this is its thinking of learning new things. He said that India believes in learning from every country in the world and for it, not the size or population of any country, but the feeling of public welfare there is more important.
Referring to this thinking, PM Modi said that India has also taken many inspirations from New Zealand. He told that New Zealand was the first country in the world which gave women the right to vote. Today the women there are playing an important role in the development of the society and the country. He said that India is also moving forward with the vision of ‘Women-Led Development’ and is providing new opportunities to women to progress in every field.
