The fantasy comedy romance drama film Double Occupancy with Santhosh and Reshma Venkatesh got released to the big screens on June 12.
After the theatrical run the movie has now made its digital debut for the audience to enjoy the flick right there at their comfort like a laid back plan.
Sharing the announcement on social media the makers welcomed the movie to OTT with a bit of a special message like sorta “hey you’re in for it”.
They said “Our Rajinis are bringing you home Double the laugh. Double the love. Double the entertainment.” Now the film is available to watch on Prime Video from July 10, 2026.
When you start talking about the film plot it’s basically like the story starts with a couple who after 15 long years of waiting finally become parents. But right after the baby is born everything turns bad because the child dies.
Still, there’s this strange little miracle that somehow brings the baby back to life except it comes with a pretty unusual deal. From that point on every single day the child lives as a girl from 6 am to 6pm and then as a boy from 6 pm to 6 am.
They call the child Rajini and later like in the daytime she becomes a researcher but at night that same mind turns into a bartender. Even if it is basically one body they seem to run two totally separate lives.
Things get kind of more captivating when each personality ends up falling for someone else. So Rajini, during the day carries one romantic relationship, while at night she has another.
