Nitish Rane attacks Aamir Khan’s third marriage, says – ‘Brand ambassador of love jihad’
The statement of Maharashtra government minister and BJP leader Nitish Rane regarding the third marriage of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has become the center of discussion. Rane launched a scathing attack on Aamir Khan and even called him the “brand ambassador of love jihad”. After his statement, the debate has intensified in political circles as well as on social media. At present, there has been no official response from Aamir Khan on this statement.
‘Hindu youth should decide their ideals thoughtfully’
While talking to the media, Nitish Rane said that the Hindu society, especially the youth, should consider who they are considering as their role models. He said that when big celebrities take decisions related to their personal lives, it also has a social impact.
Rane said, “The Hindu youth who consider him a celebrity should think about what inspiration to take from him. Who is the brand ambassador of Love Jihad? Aamir Khan is not becoming one? The Hindu youth should decide whose films they watch and how much support they give.”
Aamir Khan’s third marriage took place in the first week of July
According to reports, Aamir Khan married Gauri Spratt in a very private ceremony at his home in Pali Hill, Bandra, Mumbai in the first week of July. Only family members and close friends attended the ceremony.
Gauri Spratt is originally from Bengaluru. She has been associated with the beauty and wellness industry and has been a partner and director of salon chain BBlunt. Currently she is also collaborating in the works of Aamir Khan Productions.
25 years old friendship, then relationship changed
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt knew each other for about 25 years. In the year 2024, both of them met again through Aamir’s cousin Nuzhat Khan, after which the closeness between them increased. On his 60th birthday in March 2025, Aamir Khan introduced Gauri to the media for the first time as his “partner”.
It is noteworthy that Aamir Khan’s first marriage was to Reena Dutta (1986–2002) and second marriage was to Kiran Rao (2005–2021). Now discussion is going on across the country regarding his third marriage and the political statement made on it.
