On the second day of the only Test match being played with England, Kranti Gaur devastated the batting of the hosts. The result of Kranti’s wicket-taking bowling was that the England team was all out for 170 runs. The 22-year-old Indian bowler bowled 17 overs, taking 5 wickets for 37 runs. With this, the name of Kranti Gaur, who took five wicket haul, has been included in the honor board of Lord’s. Kranti has become the first female player in the world to register her name in the Honor Board of Lord’s.

Kranti Gaur expressed his happiness while talking to reporters after the end of the only Test match being played with England. He said, “This is a completely different feeling for me. I am really proud to be the first woman to have my name placed on the Lord’s Honors Board. It is also a matter of pride for my family. Every bowler’s dream is to take five wickets. We are playing at Lord’s for the first time, so I was thinking that if I am successful in taking five wickets, I can register my name on the honor board and also help the team win.

Kranti took her fifth wicket by dismissing Lauren Bell, who was brilliantly caught by Shefali Verma. On this Kranti said, ”Whatever happens, happens for the good. Today I felt like I would take five wickets. Sneh Rana (at first slip) made a really good effort to take the catch. When she could not catch it, Shefali caught it. I was about to celebrate my five-wicket haul, but my teammates told me to wait for the replay and the decision. This feeling is very special. I have taken five wickets in ODIs before also, but I did this for the first time in a Test match. I think I can perform even better than this. The pitches in England are suitable for fast bowlers and this is helping.

The only test match is being played between the Indian women’s team and the England women’s team. In this match, the England team won the toss and chose bowling. Where, the Indian team, who came to bat first, put 285 runs on the board in the first innings. Whereas the England team was limited to a score of 170 in the first innings. The second innings of the Indian team has started. By the end of the second day’s play, Team India has scored 154 runs at the loss of 1 wicket and India has a lead of 269 runs.
