Ram Kapoor, veteran Indian actor, left fans shocked with a rare confession about his childhood.
The 53-year-old star rose to fame with popular Sony TV drama Bad things look good, which considered as the most-loved and watched show of the 2010s.
The legendary actor, during his recent appearance at the ongoing reality show Cover Up 2, discussed his childhood trauma.
Ram confessed that he was molested when he was 13-year-old by a senior student in school.
Kapoor recalled, “When I was in 8th standard and was 13 years old, I was molested. After school, we used to sit in our dorms and talk. A Class 10 student was sitting with me on my bed when he suddenly touched me under the blanket.”
According to the Humshakals actor, he was surrounded with 30-40 children, and he couldn’t understand at the time how to react; he just froze.
“I didn’t know whether I should do something, stay quiet, keep tolerating it, or scream. After quite some time, I told him I wasn’t comfortable. He stopped immediately and left.”
Ram shared that the incident changed him a lot as he as he went all quite and traumatized for years.
However, the actor also revealed that the person, who molested him made sincere efforts to help him recover from the trauma. He even apologized for disgusting act.
