According to Rahul Gandhi, the student replied that a student is one who has an open mind and heart, who accepts from the beginning that he does not know everything, and who understands that knowledge changes with time and the world is constantly changing, so he is always ready to learn.

Rahul Gandhi said that the student told him that there is another kind of people, who believe that they know everything, the world does not change and all the knowledge is within them. Rahul Gandhi said that when he asked the student what she calls such people, the student replied, “I call them ‘idiots’ I say.”

Apart from this, Rahul Gandhi also raised questions on the education system of the country. He said that the education system has become very expensive. The government does not spend as much money on the entire education budget as it spends on one examination. He demanded accountability from the government on this issue.

Rahul Gandhi described the peaceful protests of students as the strength of democracy and said that their voices should be respected instead of being suppressed. He said that it is the responsibility of all political parties to seriously listen to the demands and feelings of the students.
