As per the new railway rules, the digital unreserved ticket must be available only on the mobile phone used for booking. Sharing a video on its official account, South East Central Railway wrote, “Unreserved tickets booked through the Rail One app are valid only on the same registered mobile number from which the ticket was issued. It is mandatory to carry a photo ID along with the mobile number during travel. Tickets received through WhatsApp, screenshot or other means will not be considered as valid travel permission.”
