An international criminal gang has been accused of abducting three Indian youths with the lure of a cheap trip to Thailand. After the kidnapping, a ransom of around 70 lakh rupees was demanded from their families. In the end, three young people were rescued alive in the operation of the Thai police.
According to sources, the accused offered cheap Thailand tour packages by posing as representatives of their travel agencies. Stepping into that trap, three young people arrived at Bangkok airport at five in the morning on July 21. From there they took a taxi to Pattaya. It is learned that the criminals ordered them to meet at a restaurant near Sukhumvit Highway in Nong Prue. Three young men reached there around 7 am. The abductors allegedly took them to a house on the pretense of taking them to a hotel. There they were imprisoned. Not only that, it is also alleged that their hands and feet were tied and severely beaten. It does not end here. Criminals also threaten the families of the youths for ransom.
It is known that 5 Indian youths are involved in this crime cycle. They have already been arrested. But there is also a Pakistani in this cycle. He has not been found yet. According to sources, the families of the kidnapped youth approached the Thai police for help. On investigation, the police officials came to know that the accused were using SIM cards in UAE and Dubai to hide their location. However, after a long effort, the investigators found the base of the criminals. But the accused fled from there before the police arrived. Then the search for them began. The accused were caught in the police net on Tuesday.
