Joe Minoso exits ‘Chicago Fire’ after 15 Seasons
A familiar face is bidding farewell to Chicago Fire.
Joe Miñoso exits the NBC drama after 15 seasons, a source revealed to Variety.
A series regular since the start of the show, the 47-year-old actor will reprise his role as Joe Cruz in a limited number of Season 15 episodes as the long running character’s journey comes to an end.

His journey on Chicago Fire began with starring on the pilot, and after a recurring role in the first season, he was promoted to series regular for Season 2.
By the time of his departure, Miñoso remained one of the last four original Chicago Fire cast members, joining Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, and Christian Stolte.
With Miñoso stepping away, Chicago Fire is expanding its cast by adding BMF star Da’Vinchi as a series regular in Season 15.
Behind the scenes, Chicago Fire is also undergoing a major transition, with Victor Teran replacing Andrea Newman as showrunner after her 14-season run.
