Semolina 1 cup, one and a half cup sugar, half cup ghee, 1 tsp kewra water, 1 tsp cardamom powder, 8-10 almonds, 8-10 cashews, 1-2 tbsp coconut
How to make Caramelized Semolina Halwa?
Step 1: To make Caramelized Semolina Halwa, first of all, turn on the gas and place a pan on it. When the pan becomes hot, add semolina and fry it well. Semolina has to be roasted until it turns red. Fry the semolina for five to six minutes, when it is roasted, take it out in a deep vessel. Now add two glasses of water or milk in it and soak it for some time.
Second step: Now add ghee in the same pan and roast all the dry fruits well in it. When the dry fruits are roasted, take them out in a vessel. Now add some more ghee in the pan and then add sugar in it. Now stir the sugar well on medium flame. It has to be cooked until the sugar becomes caramelized. When the sugar starts turning brown, add cardamom powder, kewra water and mix well. You will see that the sugar has melted and turned completely brown.
Third Step: Now reduce the flame to medium and add semolina and mix well. Keep stirring it until it becomes a little thick. When it becomes slightly thick, add dry fruits to it and mix well once again.
