Sharad Pawar Might Support Delimitation Bill: Sharad Pawar’s party can support the Delimitation Bill of Modi government if this condition is accepted, Supriya Sule said – will not join NDA

Mumbai Sharad Pawar’s party NCP-SP can support the delimitation bill of Modi government on one condition. Sharad Pawar’s daughter and party MP in Lok Sabha Supriya Sule said this on Wednesday. Supriya Sule said that NCP-SP, DMK and Samajwadi Party had said that under the delimitation bill, we will consider supporting this bill if 50 percent quota is given in the Lok Sabha seats of every state. He also said that he will decide his stand when the bill is presented. He also said that Sharad Pawar’s party will not join NDA.

Earlier on Tuesday night, Sharad Pawar’s party leader Jayant Patil had met Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. Since then, speculations have gained momentum that Sharad Pawar is going to take some big decision. Now it has become clear from the latest statement of Supriya Sule that Sharad Pawar’s party can support the delimitation bill by moving away from the stand of Congress, the main party of Indi alliance. Sharad Pawar himself is a Rajya Sabha MP. At the same time, six MPs of his party are in the Lok Sabha. In such a situation, if the Modi government again brings the delimitation bill in the monsoon session of Parliament, then the scenario of politics may look different at that time. Because to pass this bill, Modi government will need two-third majority in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

The Modi government had tried to pass the delimitation bill in the last session of Parliament. The Delimitation Bill was also discussed in the Lok Sabha. During that time, many opposition parties had refused to support the bill citing that there was no talk of increasing 50 percent seats in every state. At that time Home Minister Amit Shah had said that if he gets a chance of one hour, he will make these provisions in the bill and then present it. Even on this assurance of Shah, the opposition parties did not agree. On this the Modi government had withdrawn the delimitation bill. It is being told that the Modi government will again present the bill in the monsoon session of Parliament. Besides, there is a possibility of a bill to remove the PM, CM and ministers if they go to jail on serious charges. To pass this, the government will need two-thirds majority.
