Narottam Mishra became emotional while remembering his long political journey. He said, “What more do I want from the party which made me an MLA for 30 years and a minister for 15 years. I am not a rebel by nature.” He said that he respects the party’s decision and will use all his strength to make BJP’s official candidate Ashutosh Tiwari win.

Making an emotional appeal to the people of Datia, Mishra said, “I will bow at every door of the owners of Datia, will go to every village and will work to ensure victory of the BJP candidate.”

Gave open warning to SP

However, during his speech, Narottam Mishra also gave an open warning to the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Datia. He said from the stage, “SP sir, listen carefully, I am not a forgetful creature. I remember both friendship and enmity. Why were tear gas shells fired at the BJP office? The beating of innocent workers will not be tolerated at any cost.”

This statement has come at a time when the atmosphere is heated in Datia regarding the demonstration and traffic jam by BJP workers after the ticket cutting. However, Mishra also appealed to his supporters to exercise restraint. He said that no such step should be taken which may cause trouble to the general public or affect law and order. There are many other ways to express your views democratically.
