Aamir Khan’s ‘Batwara 1947’ teaser: Sunny Deol’s emotional dialogue

Mumbai: The second teaser of Aamir Khan Productions’ much-awaited film ‘Batwara 1947’ has now been released. This teaser of about one minute further increases the excitement among the audience towards the film. This film attempts to present the pain of the partition of India, the pain of separation and the violence of that time on the big screen.

The teaser begins with Aamir Khan’s solemn voiceover mentioning the tragedy that spread in the country after independence. After this, Sunny Deol speaks an impressive dialogue, “Darr rahe hain insaan, mar rahe hain insaan…I don’t want to die while I am alive. I am alive and will give proof of my being alive.” This dialogue makes the teaser even more emotional and serious.

In another powerful scene, when Sunny Deol’s character is asked, “Panga lena hai?” So he replies, “No intention, but no objection either.” It is clear from this dialogue that Sunny Deol is not afraid of anyone.

Direction and Music

This film is directed by National Award winner Rajkumar Santoshi. The special thing is that the pair of Santoshi and Sunny Deol have come together again after almost three decades. The music of the film was composed by A.R. Rahman has produced it, while the lyrics have been written by Javed Akhtar. ‘Batwara 1947’ will be released in theaters on August 14, 2026.
