According to the administration, Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee was earlier given a notice in connection with the construction of an illegal building, but the TMC MP did not respond to this notice. After this the administration issued an order to demolish the building. After which bulldozer action was started here on Saturday morning in the presence of a large number of forces. Till the time of writing the news, there was no reaction from Abhishek Banerjee on the demolition of the illegal office building. The Subhendu Adhikari government started action against illegal construction ever since it assumed power in West Bengal. Now Abhishek Banerjee’s office building has also come under its influence.

Since the formation of BJP government in West Bengal, many cases have been registered against Abhishek Banerjee. CID investigation is going on against Abhishek Banerjee in the case of fake signatures of MLAs on the motion of Leader of Opposition. At the same time, a case has also been registered against Abhishek Banerjee for allegedly threatening during the West Bengal Assembly elections. West Bengal CID is also investigating this. Abhishek Banerjee had gone to Calcutta High Court in both the cases. While his arrest was stayed, the court clearly said that the investigation of the case will continue. At the same time, a case has been registered against his aunt Mamta Banerjee for giving a provocative speech. Many TMC leaders and workers in West Bengal have also been sent to jail in different cases.
