There are only a few days left for the start of the month of Shravan. This year, Gatari Amavasya is on August 12. This festival falls on the last day of the month of Ashadh. On this day, chicken, mutton and fish are feasted at home. Because non-vegetarian food is not eaten at all during the entire month of Shravan. Non-vegetarian food is eaten immediately after the arrival of Ganpati Bappa. Therefore, to make this year’s Gatari Amavasya even more special, definitely try making chicken sukka in Malvani method. Ingredients:
- Chicken
- Dried coconut kiss
- Green chili
- Ginger garlic paste
- Salt
- Turmeric
- Malvani red chili
- Chicken Masala
- Coriander
- Curd
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- whole spices
- Curry leaves
Action:
- To make Malvani Chicken Sukka, first of all, finely chop the chicken and wash it three to four times with water.
- Drain the water from the chicken completely. Then add red chili powder, turmeric powder, curd, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice and apply the masala to the chicken.
- Heat a pan and add dry coconut, onion, garlic and kade masala and fry them separately on low flame.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and curry leaves to the hot oil and fry on low flame until it turns reddish.
- Then add finely chopped onion and fry it till it turns red. Add Malvani red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chicken masala to the fried onion and fry it till the oil separates.
- Then add finely chopped coconut flakes to it, fry it on low flame and add the marinated chicken and mix it.
- Steam the chicken. Add water to the chicken if necessary, otherwise the chicken will be steamed.
- After cooking the chicken on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, add finely chopped coriander and mix.
- Chicken Sukka made in Malvani method is ready.
