America’s air attack on Iran for the 8th consecutive night, gave reply to the attack on Jordan base
Tehran/Washington. On the orders of President Donald Trump, the US military carried out air strikes on Iran for the eighth consecutive night on Saturday. The action is a response to an Iranian attack on a US military base in Jordan, which killed two American soldiers.
In a message shared on Twitter by the US Central Command (SITCOM), it has been said that at 6 pm today, on the orders of the Commander-in-Chief, the US military launched new air strikes against Iran.
The purpose of these attacks is to further reduce Iran’s ability to become a hindrance to commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
And also to punish the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces who attacked American troops in Jordan last night.
In the latest attack, the US targeted military bases in southern Iran’s coastal city of Syriac, Hajiabad, Bandar Abbas and Qeshm Island with fighter planes and missiles.
Before this, America carried out continuous attacks in Iran and destroyed many bridges, railway stations, airports, electricity grids and a water plant in the last few days.
Iran has also retaliated against the American attack by targeting American military bases in the Gulf countries.
Iran’s military has fired drones and ballistic missiles at US military bases and Fifth Fleet command centers in Kuwait and Bahrain.
The US Consulate in Erbil city of Iraq has activated its air defense system to avoid air attacks.
Iran’s Health Ministry has claimed that 50 people died in American air strikes between June 27 and July 18, while more than 500 people were injured.
