Sonam Wangchuk Health Update: A big update has come out from the hospital regarding the health of activist Sonam Wangchuk. An update on the health of activist Sonam Wangchuk was given till 8.30 am today in Delhi. Sonam Wangchuk is being given necessary medical treatment at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital. At present his vital health parameters are stable.

According to information received from the hospital, Sonam Wangchuk is being given necessary medical intervention at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital. His vital parameters are currently stable. However, there is little change in his blood parameters, and given the physiological stress and systemic effects of prolonged fasting, he requires constant medical care under the close monitoring of a multidisciplinary team of experts.

Sonam Wangchuk is being given medical care 24/7

The treating teams of VMMC and doctors from Safdarjung Hospital and AIIMS, New Delhi, believe that despite his current condition being stable, continuous medical intervention and round-the-clock clinical monitoring is necessary to promptly detect and manage any possible complications. Therefore, all necessary medical care is being given, and his clinical status, including his blood parameters, is being continuously monitored.

As soon as Sonam Wangchuk was admitted to the hospital due to the protest on Saturday, his wife Geetanjali Angmo demanded from the hospital administration that Sonam Wangchuk would not be given anything to eat without her approval. He wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ that he is in Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi, where Sonam Wangchuk has been admitted. He said that without the consent of him, Wangchuk’s family and the doctors who have been monitoring his health for the last 20 days, no medicine or thing should be given to him orally or intravenously.

Huge uproar at Jantar Mantar

Let us inform you that on Saturday morning, Delhi Police forcibly shifted Sonam Wangchuk from the Jantar Mantar platform to Safdarjung Hospital. As soon as he left, there was a huge uproar at Jantar Mantar. Delhi Police tried to remove the protesters from Jantar Mantar, but the tension increased further. As soon as Sonam Wangchuk left, Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijit Deepke announced a fast unto death and appealed to the public to join the Parliament march in large numbers on July 20.
