Class 11 student stabbed to death in Delhi; two suspects arrested

A 19-year-old Class 11 student was fatally stabbed following an altercation in Delhi’s Kalkaji area on Monday, with police arresting two suspects in connection with the killing.

Delhi Police received a PCR call around 2:23 pm reporting a quarrel among school students near a park in B Block, DDA Flats, Kalkaji. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim with stab wounds. A Centralized Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) ambulance also responded to the scene.

Medical personnel performed CPR before transferring the victim to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he was declared dead. The deceased was identified as Saiyed Husain, aged 19, a Class 11 student at MCD Primary Co-ed School, Kalkaji.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Saiyed Husain was stabbed by two to three individuals following the quarrel. A case has been registered under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Kalkaji Police Station, according to authorities.

Two suspects have been apprehended, and further investigation is ongoing.

Separately, police reported that on July 18, a 45-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle in the Bawana area of ​​North West Delhi.
