Lucknow. There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the recruitment notification for the main examination for a total of 1,829 posts of Auditor and Assistant Accountant. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the Commission. This recruitment will be conducted for appointments in various government departments.

Recruitment will be done on so many posts

A total of 1,829 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Selected candidates will be appointed in various departments of Uttar Pradesh Government. The pay scale for these posts will be as per Level-5, in which there may be some difference in the pay scale according to the department.

Who can apply?

Only those candidates who have participated in the UPSSSC PET-2025 examination and have a valid PET-2025 score card will be eligible to apply for this recruitment. PET score is part of the mandatory eligibility for this recruitment.

Important dates of application

The online application process has started from 14th July 2026. The last date for submission of application and fee has been fixed as August 3, 2026. At the same time, the last date for fee matching and amendment in the application is 10 August 2026. Candidates should complete the application well in time to avoid last minute hassles.

What will the selection process be like?

Candidates will be selected on the basis of main written examination. The exam will be OMR based, in which 100 questions will be asked. Each question will carry one mark and the time for the exam will be 120 minutes. Negative marking of one-fourth mark will also be applicable for wrong answers.
