UP T20 League Season 4: Tickets for the opening ceremony of the fourth season launched at Ekana Stadium.
The beginning of the fourth season of Uttar Pradesh T-20 League is now near. The tickets for the inaugural ceremony of the league were officially launched during a program organized at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Monday. This time, along with cricket, there will be a grand confluence of music, drone show and cultural presentations.
Grand opening ceremony will be held on 14th August
The opening ceremony of the league will be held on August 14 at Ekana Stadium. The organizing committee has released 4,000 tickets at concessional rates in the initial phase. The ticket for Upper Block has been fixed at Rs 349 and the ticket for Lower Wing has been fixed at Rs 499. Tickets will be available on ‘first come, first served’ basis and can also be purchased through the e-District app.
In the inaugural ceremony, the country’s famous sitar player Rishabh Rikhiram Sharma and famous singer Jasmine Sandlas will entertain the audience with their performances. Apart from this, hi-tech drone show, attractive fireworks and hosting of popular anchor Jatin Sapru will make the ceremony more special.
For the first time the league will be held in two cities
Dr. Sanjay Kapoor, Chairman of the Governing Council of UP T-20 League, said that this time the league is being organized for the first time in two cities – Lucknow and Kanpur.
The first phase will be played from 14 to 26 August at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, where 22 matches will be played including the opening ceremony. After this, the second phase will start from August 28 at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur, where 12 matches will be played. The final match of the league will be held on 6 September in Kanpur with a grand closing ceremony.
Dr. Kapoor said that this time the aim of the league is to give the audience a world-class entertainment experience along with cricket. This will further strengthen the sports culture in Uttar Pradesh and will also provide a bigger platform to young players.
