Meeting of District Industries and Trade Brothers in Collectorate Auditorium on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer.

As per the instructions of Basti District Magistrate, a meeting of District Industries and Trade Bandhu was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Sarthak Aggarwal. Representatives of industry and business organizations along with officials of various departments participated in the meeting. During this, entrepreneurs put forth their problems and suggestions, which were reviewed department-wise and necessary guidelines were given to the concerned officials.

In the meeting, dilapidated electrical wires, roads, drainage, traffic jams in the city and other departmental matters were discussed in detail. The entrepreneurs informed about the pending cases of many cases and demanded their immediate disposal. On this, Chief Development Officer Sarthak Aggarwal directed the officers of the concerned departments to ensure timely and quality disposal of all pending cases on priority basis. He clearly said that no entrepreneur should have to visit offices unnecessarily and problems should be solved by establishing better coordination at the departmental level. The Chief Development Officer said that industrial development is an important basis for the economic progress of the district. It is the responsibility of all concerned departments to create a favorable environment for investors and entrepreneurs as per the intention of the government. He instructed the officials that there should not be unnecessary delay in matters related to establishment and operation of industries and each case should be resolved within the stipulated time limit. In the meeting, the entrepreneurs informed that the medical best material is not disposed at the designated place, cognizance of which was taken by the Chief Development Officer. He directed EO Municipality to impose fine. He also said that by sending a letter to the Chief Medical Officer, it should be ensured that the medical waste material is disposed of at the designated place by the hospitals of the city.

In the meeting, while reviewing Niveshmitra Portal, Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme, Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign, Chief Minister Youth Self-Employment, One District One Product, Financing Assistance Scheme etc., the concerned officers were directed to ensure progress as per the departmental target. Additional District Magistrate Pratipal Singh Chauhan, DC MNREGA Sanjay Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Industries Rajesh Roman, Deputy Commissioner Administration State Tax Upendra Yadav, EO Municipality Angad Gupta, Assistant Commissioner Food Chittaranjan Kumar Singh, representatives of NHI, officials related to Electricity Department, President Chambers of Commerce and Industries Ashok Kumar Singh, General Secretary Chambers of Commerce and Industries Harish Chandra Shukla, Jagdish of Industry Trade Board were present in the meeting. Officials of concerned departments including Agrahari, representatives of industrial organizations and entrepreneurs were present.
