Boulder Falls On Tata Sumo In Himachal Pradesh: Tragic accident in Himachal Pradesh, rock fell on moving Tata Sumo, 13 people crushed to death
New Delhi. A heavy rock fell from a mountain on a Tata Sumo taxi moving on the road in Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh. In this tragic incident, 13 people traveling in the vehicle were crushed to death. The accident occurred near Kadu Nala on the Kilar-Udaipur National Highway. As soon as information about the incident was received, people from the local administration reached the spot and started the rescue operation. According to initial information, there were a total of 15 people in the vehicle. Two people have been admitted to the hospital for treatment in injured condition. An innocent 6-month-old child is also included among the dead.

The Udaipur-Killar road was closed for the past few days due to rain and landslides, due to which all these people were staying in Tindi. When traffic started this morning, the taxi left for Pangi, but met with an accident midway. The rock that fell on the vehicle was so heavy that the entire vehicle was damaged and the people sitting in it died on the spot. Administrative officials are present at the spot. Border Roads Organization (BRO) employees are working to remove debris. Efforts are being made to gather information regarding the deceased.

Let us tell you that due to heavy rains in this monsoon season, incidents of landslides and cloud bursts are taking place in other hilly states including Himachal Pradesh. Many roads have been closed due to which traffic is being disrupted. Governments are appealing to people to take precautions and postpone non-essential travel in hilly areas. Just on July 21, there was huge devastation due to cloudburst in Shahpur area of Kangra district. Due to cloud burst in Spada and Garhgoon villages of Boh valley of Shahpur, 18 houses and a school building were washed away in the flood.
