18 Metro Stations Closed Today: For the last several days, protests are being held by the CJP party at Jantar Mantar ground in Delhi regarding the NEET paper leak issue. During this, an atmosphere like lathicharge was created between thousands of students and policemen from all over the country. In view of this protest, DMRC has taken a very big decision. DMRC has announced closure of New Delhi Metro station until further orders. Apart from this, interchange facility at the station has also been closed. This decision of DMRC is becoming a big problem for those passengers who travel by train daily.
How to reach New Delhi Railway Station?
If Metro is not available, you can book a cab like Ola, Uber or Rapido to go directly to New Delhi Railway Station from your home or office. If people living in Noida or Ghaziabad go via Delhi Noida Direct (DND) flyway or Ring Road, they can easily save 30 to 40 minutes in their journey.
Reach New Delhi Railway Station by DTC or cluster buses
You can also reach New Delhi Railway Station by DTC or cluster buses running all over Delhi. For this you will have to catch a bus going to Shivaji Stadium, Ajmeri Gate or Paharganj. After getting down at these places, you can easily reach the station on foot or by taking an e-rickshaw.

These 18 metro stations will remain closed till further orders
According to Delhi Metro, these 18 stations will remain closed from 7:30 am today till further orders. However, passengers will be able to change the metro at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat stations.
