Who is Mrityunjay Tiwari: Another big political change has been seen in the politics of Bihar. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Former BJP spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari joined BJP just a week after leaving the party. In a program organized in Patna, BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi gave him the membership of the party. During this, senior leader Mangal Pandey was also present.

On joining BJP, Sanjay Saraogi said that Mrityunjay Tiwari has always been in favor of clean politics and now he has got the right political platform as per his ideology. At the same time, Mangal Pandey said that Tiwari has been associated with the ideology of cultural nationalism for a long time and his arrival will strengthen the party.

Why did Mrityunjay Tiwari leave RJD?

Mrityunjay Tiwari had announced his resignation from RJD by releasing a video on July 16. He had said that he was ‘suffocating’ in the party. Tiwari told that Lalu Prasad Yadav had made him the spokesperson of the party in the year 2014 and in difficult times he strongly supported RJD in the media.

However, he alleged that when he shared his concerns with Tejashwi Yadav about the future of the party, he realized that the party’s working president was surrounded by people who were ‘hollowing out the organization from within like termites’. For this reason he decided to leave the party.

Who is Mrityunjay Tiwari?

Mrityunjay Tiwari is a prominent leader of Bihar. He was the chief spokesperson and media in-charge of RJD for a long time. Recently on July 24, he joined BJP.
Mrityunjay was associated with RJD for almost 20 years. He took over the responsibility of the party’s national spokesperson and media in-charge from the year 2014.
In July, he resigned from all posts and membership of RJD citing neglect and low self-respect within the party.

Mrityunjay Tiwari said that I am grateful for the honor given by BJP. As long as there is even a drop of blood left in my body, we will continue to work to take the Bharatiya Janata Party forward. Our political life has been an open book. We did not get the respect we deserved in RJD. So we resigned. RJD has no policy nor intentions. This party is on the verge of ending.

Mrityunjay Tiwari’s joining BJP is being considered important in the politics of Bihar, especially at a time when preparations for the assembly elections are gaining momentum in the state.
