Lucknow: After the case of theft of offerings in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, an important meeting was held between Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishwa Hindu Parishad and top saints and Mahants of Ayodhya. This meeting took place at Ram Satsang Bhawan located in Maniramdas ji’s cantonment. In this meeting, Champat Rai, former General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, was unanimously given a clean chit, declaring him completely innocent.

Expressing his views, officials of the Sant Samaj and the organization said that Champat Rai has dedicated his entire life to the service of Lord Ramlala. The main objective of the meeting was to remove the dissatisfaction and doubts arising among the devotees of Ram in the country and abroad and to restore the trust of the Trust. The saints appealed to the devotees not to be influenced by misleading news and propaganda going on on social media. He trusted the investigation of the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
