Interest has been credited to the accounts of Central Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) employees. EPFO has started crediting interest in PF account for the financial year 2025-26. Many people must have received the message regarding this. If you are not yet seeing the record of interest credit in your PF account or passbook, then there is no need to worry. You can get information about PF interest and balance in some easy ways. It is easy to check whether interest has been credited to the PF account or not. Employees can check the amount in their PF account through these four methods.

1- Check PF interest like this through UMANG app

UMANG app is useful to avail the services of EPFO. For this go to the app.

Choose EPFO ​​Services

Login by entering UAN and required information here

After logging in, information about PF balance and interest received will be visible.

2- Information from missed call and SMS

If the mobile number is already linked to UAN and KYC is updated, then you can get information about savings and interest in PF account even without internet.

For this, give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number.

After some time, you will get the PF balance information on your mobile through SMS.

3- Check PF balance through SMS

Go to mobile message box

Now type the message EPFOHO UAN

After this send it to 7738299899

Now you will get account balance details through SMS

But for this service your UAN must be activated

Re-check EPFO ​​passbook

If you checked your EPF passbook a few days ago and the interest amount was not credited at that time, then check again whether the interest amount has been credited or not. Because EPFO ​​has started the process of crediting interest.

4- How and where to check PF passbook?

Go to EPFO’s official passbook site passbook.epfindia.gov.in

Login by entering UAN and password here

Select Employee Member ID

Check entry in passbook for the year 2025-26

Members can check the deposited amount by going to Interest Credit.
