Modi Thanks Youngsters For “Insightful Suggestions” On His Late-Night Video – Read

New Delhi, July 25:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed gratitude to youngsters for their overwhelming response to his late-night video message, saying their engagement and suggestions had further strengthened his bond with them.

In a follow-up video posted on social media, Modi said he was deeply encouraged by the reaction. “Thank you, friends. Last night, I got an opportunity to connect with you. The way you responded to the video and gave positive suggestions—thanks to everybody. Your love will continue, and our relationship will become even stronger,” he said.

The Prime Minister’s message generated massive traction online, crossing over 2.5 million views within eight minutes of being uploaded. The video also garnered more than 1 million likes on Instagram within 20 minutes, reflecting strong engagement, particularly among the youth. He is also reported to have gained around 1 million new followers on Instagram overnight.

The outreach came a day after Modi posted a late-night video announcing that the Union Cabinet would deliberate on a draft law to tackle examination paper leaks. The proposed legislation is expected to include provisions for fast-track courts and stricter punishment for those involved in such offences.

Describing paper leaks as a serious concern, the Prime Minister said such incidents had caused “immense pain” to lakhs of students and their families. He asserted that the government was committed to ensuring stronger mechanisms to prevent such malpractices.
