“Dharmendra Pradhan should resign and PM Modi should apologize!” This ultimatum of Rahul Gandhi created a stir
Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, who has been continuously attacking the Central Government over the NEET paper leak and ongoing irregularities in the country’s examination system, has made a very sharp attack on the government in a press conference on Saturday.
He told that he has openly talked to the students sitting on hunger strike at Jantar Mantar and three very important demands have emerged from the students’ side, on which there is no scope for any kind of compromise. Rahul Gandhi strictly said that the first and biggest demand of the students is to remove Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from his post.
Rahul Gandhi adamant on resignation of Education Minister
During the press conference, Rahul Gandhi said that the students have three main demands and these are such demands on which there is no question of any kind of negotiation or compromise with the government. He bluntly said that the students clearly believe that accountability must be fixed in the education system of the country. Making strong allegations, Rahul Gandhi said that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is completely corrupt, incompetent and has failed to discharge his responsibilities properly. This is why the first and foremost demand of the students is that Dharmendra Pradhan should be immediately dismissed from his post.
Along with this, Rahul Gandhi made a big claim and said that there is a murmur and discussion going on within the cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Dharmendra Pradhan can be removed from the Education Ministry and given the responsibility of some other ministry. He clearly warned that if any such step is taken, it will not solve any problem. Rahul Gandhi stressed that the students of the country and any citizen of India will never accept such cover-up.
Dharmendra Pradhan became a symbol of corruption and ruined future
Rahul Gandhi further attacked and said that Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is no longer just a minister, but he has become a big symbol of the corruption spread in the country’s education system and playing with the future of crores of students. He alleged that the biggest asset of the country is its young students and their future, but in the current situation, the same future of the country is being pushed into darkness the most.
Two other big demands of students, on which there is no compromise
Taking his point further, Rahul Gandhi also openly mentioned the remaining two demands of the students and made it clear that there will be no compromise on these too. Their second and third demands are as follows:
- Strictest legal action should be taken against all the officers and personnel responsible for the alleged brutality and use of police force on peaceful protesting students recently.
- The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi himself should come forward and publicly apologize to these innocent students and youth of the country.
