Mumbai: Shreya Kalra, who recently lifted the ‘Lock Upp 2’ trophy, has ruled out participating in ‘Bigg Boss’ anytime soon.
Reflecting on her experience in the reality show, the social media influencer said she has had enough of the intense environment, joking that she has “ek pagalkhane se nikal ke aayi hoon (come out of a mental asylum).”
On her Instagram channel, Clock It With Shreya, she said, “Doston, jo mujhse puch raha hai main Bigg Boss jaungi ki nahi- Main just abhi ek pagalkhane se nikal ke aayi hoon (Friends, for those asking me whether I will be going on Bigg Boss, I have just come out of a madhouse). I am not planning to do any reality show as a contestant right now because it was mentally exhausting and very taxing. So no Bigg Boss for me, but if there’s an opportunity to host, mentor, or become a gang leader, then I’ll definitely be excited. Maza aajayega agar aisa kuch hogaya tha (It’ll be fun if something like this happens). But contestant? No bro, too much to take in.”
Shreya’s journey on ‘Lock Upp Season 2’ saw her go from being labelled the show’s villain to ultimately emerging as its winner.
From the very beginning, she frequently clashed with fellow contestants and formed only two close friendships inside the house, one with a contestant she later evicted and the other with Shilpa Shinde, who finished fourth.
Shreya also excelled in several tasks throughout the season and earned praise from the hosts for “carrying the game on her shoulders” and provoking strong reactions from her fellow contestants.
Along with the coveted trophy, Shreya also walked away with ₹1 crore in prize money.
