Jalaun is misleading the youth responsible for backwardness: CM Yogi!

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath fiercely targeted the opposition during the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of development projects in Jalaun. Holding the previous governments responsible for the backwardness, drought and migration of Bundelkhand, he said that people should remember who were the people who laid the basis of backwardness of Jalaun and Bundelkhand. There is also a need to remember those people whose black exploits led to Jalaun being declared a dacoit affected area.

CM Yogi said that they were the same people who forced Bundelkhand to migrate due to scarcity and drought. Today the same people are trying to mislead the youth by shedding crocodile tears.

He questioned why the region comprising the confluence of sacred rivers like Yamuna, Betwa and Pahuj was forced to lag behind and why this region was seen lagging behind in every plan.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 375 development projects worth Rs 1275 crore in Orai, Madhogarh and Kalpi assembly constituencies of Jalaun. In the program organized at the Sports Stadium in Orai, the CM visited the exhibition and also distributed kits/cheques/sanction letters to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

Bundelkhand Expressway and four lane connectivity has changed the face of Jalaun. Now this area is not making its mark as a rugged and bandit affected area, but as an area of development and new possibilities.

CM Yogi said that the handicraft paper produced in Kalpi, Jalaun is now emerging from local identity and becoming a global brand. After this traditional paper of Kalpi got GI tag, both its identity and market have expanded.

Today Kalpi’s paper is crossing the country’s borders and reaching countries like Australia, Canada, America, Germany and Japan. The specialty of Kalpi paper is its traditional manufacturing process and its identity associated with local handicrafts. By getting the GI tag, this product has got a unique identity at the international level and this has increased the hope of opening new markets for local artisans and entrepreneurs.

He said that history warns us of this. Maharishi Vedvyas was born here in this holy stream and it is said that Lord Krishna’s grandson Samb had also built the ancient Sun Temple here. Remember, Konch’s Ramleela created a world record in the Limca Book of Records.

That is, how should be the history of Ramlila? I got the opportunity to come today to inaugurate/lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 1275 crore on land belonging to Orai, Madhavgarh and Kalpi assembly constituencies.

While paying obeisance at the feet of Adishakti Maa Bhagwati Jalaun Mata and Sharda Mata of Bairagarh, CM Yogi paid his respects to the holy birthplace of Maharishi Ved Vyas and the holy place of Jalaun. Jalaun and Kalpi are known for their glorious history.

The land which is known as the summer land of Rani Laxmibai, Tatya Tope and Nana Saheb Peshwa, the handmade paper of Kalpi and the world famous peas here give a new identity to this district.

Taking aim at the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today the youth of Uttar Pradesh are walking with full chest in the country and the world and there is no identity crisis in front of them. During the SP rule, the resources of Bundelkhand were heavily exploited by the mafia and extortion was done in the name of development.

The money coming for the development of Bundelkhand was spent on film programs in Saifai. Today this money is being spent on four-lane connectivity, employment of youth and welfare of farmers. The poor are getting the benefits of schemes like ration, pension, Ayushman Bharat and cooking gas.

Referring to law and order, the CM said that now daughters are going to school in a safe environment. There is no place except jail or hell for a criminal who molests a daughter or harasses a businessman. Today businessmen are fearlessly moving ahead in business and daughters are moving towards self-reliance.
