Political turmoil has once again intensified within the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) over organizational changes. Party leader Rupali Thombare Patil has openly launched a campaign against state president Sunil Tatkare, demanding his resignation. She stated that a change in the state president position is necessary to strengthen the party organization and fulfill the vision of the late Ajit Pawar.
Rupali Thombare Patil also claimed that the decision to change the state president was made during Ajit Pawar’s tenure. According to her, Ajit Pawar had mentioned the need for a change in the state president during a conversation with party workers and instructed everyone to work towards strengthening the organization.
Demand for a Change in the State President
Rupali Thombare Patil stated that a change in the state president is necessary to strengthen the party. She also mentioned strategist Prashant Kishor and claimed that major organizational changes are needed within the party.
He stated that it is the party’s right to appoint a strategist, but if the organization is to be strengthened, necessary changes in leadership must also be made.

Thombare Patil said that if Sunil Tatkare wants to strengthen the party, he should resign from the post of state president and pave the way for organizational change.
“Tatkare and Praful Patel should stand with the Pawar family”
Rupali Thombare Patil also raised questions about Sunil Tatkare and Praful Patel. She said that both leaders should have stood firmly with the Pawar family after Ajit Pawar’s demise.
She specifically called for standing firmly with Sunetra Pawar and Parth Pawar.
Thombare Patil said that everyone has accepted Sunetra Pawar’s leadership, and at this time, instead of fighting for control of the party, everyone should stand with the Pawar family.
