CJP’s social media growth has made it one of the largest political Instagram accounts in the country. CJP has crossed the mark of more than 26 million followers on Instagram.
This number is more than the official Instagram accounts of many major political parties of the country. The number of followers of CJP has exceeded the Instagram accounts of many big political parties including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Indian National Congress (Congress), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Trinamool Congress (TMC).

More Instagram followers than BJP and Congress
According to reports, CJP’s Instagram follower count has surpassed BJP’s around 9.5 million followers and Congress’s around 14.8 million followers. This rapid digital growth has also sparked debate over whether CJP’s popularity is a sign of youth resentment and participation or the result of the power of social media algorithms.

Controversy regarding X account also
Amid CJP’s rapidly growing digital presence, controversy had also arisen regarding its X (formerly Twitter) account. The organisation’s X account, which had more than 2 lakh followers, was blocked in India.
CJP founder Abhijit Deepke had confirmed this and said that he had expected this action. After this, the organization started creating alternative social media handles and backup channels to maintain access to its followers.
