NEET movement is over, but CJP’s mission continues, now full focus will be on education reforms

Knews Desk- The 36-day long strike ended after the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. CJP said- This victory is not the end, but the beginning of a long battle for change in the education system of the country.

New Delhi. After the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has ended its 36-day-long agitation. However, the organization says that their campaign is not over. According to CJP leaders, now their entire focus will be on improving the education system, youth issues and taking the movement to the grassroots level across the country.

After the dharna ends, there is intense discussion among the people as to what will be the next step of CJP. Will the organization agitate on any new issue or take the form of a political party in future? At present the CJP leadership has not given a clear answer on this, but has definitely given many hints for the future.

CJP founder Abhijeet Deepke’s health had deteriorated during the movement. While sharing the information on social media, the organization said that he has been diagnosed with typhoid. He had high fever during the protest at Jantar Mantar, after which the infection was confirmed in the test.

Meanwhile, Abhijeet Deepke released a video message expressing his gratitude to all the people who supported the movement. He also thanked the critics and said that their criticisms have made the organization stronger.

‘This is not the end of the movement, it is the first chapter’

CJP leaders say that the resignation of the Education Minister is definitely a sign of fulfillment of one of their important demands, but this does not end their mission. The organization claims that this is only the first phase of a larger campaign and that the struggle for education reforms will continue in the future.

Abhijeet Deepke said that withdrawal of the movement does not mean that the fight is over. He also demanded compensation to the families of students who committed suicide in cases related to the examination dispute and an impartial investigation into the police action taken during the ‘Chalo Sansad’ march.

Preparation to advance the strength of youth

CJP spokesperson Neha Bora said that this movement has proved that if the youth are united then big changes are possible. According to him, this is not the end of any campaign, but a new beginning, which will now be taken forward across the country.

Organization spokesperson Saurav Das said that CJP will continue to raise issues related to education, employment and youth prominently in future also. He says that the aim of the organization is to ensure policy changes by putting pressure on the governments, so that there can be a permanent solution to the problems of the youth.

At present no politics, emphasis on mass movement

Saurav Das clarified that entering electoral politics is not the priority of the organization right now. He said that many political parties already exist in the country, but they are not able to fully fulfill the expectations of the youth. Therefore, CJP will currently work on strengthening its mass movement and increasing its reach among the society.

However, organization leader Ranka did not completely deny the possibility of becoming a political option in the future. He said that no possibility can ever be completely rejected in public life, but at this time his biggest priority is to bring comprehensive reforms in the education system of the country.

Ranka said that CJP will continue its campaign until necessary changes are made in the education system. According to him, this is the organization’s promise to the public and the youth of the country.
