Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray praised the students protesting across the country in the NEET paper leak case. Addressing the gathering at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park on Sunday, he said that this students’ movement is the beginning of a bigger fight against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Uddhav Thackeray said that by showing their unity, students have written a golden chapter in the democratic history of India. This movement has now spread throughout the country. He said that votes can be stolen, but people cannot be stolen.

‘People ask that there are still three years left for the elections, then why are we speaking? The answer is that Modi has now understood that votes can be stolen, but people cannot. No election has been won today. The patriots have defeated the blind followers. This fight is between BJP and India.

Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘I want to tell Prime Minister Modi to pay attention to the country now. Your ministers are busy breaking political parties. Ask them to work for the country.
‘I will never forget the pain of losing my children’
Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘How painful was it to remove your favorite Dharmendra Pradhan from the cabinet? Was this pain greater than the pain of the families of those students whose children sacrificed their lives? I will never forget this pain.
Uddhav Thackeray appealed to the youth not to let this awareness diminish. Do not tolerate the arrogance of power. You have shown the power of the people. Don’t let anyone weaken the country again.

Uddhav Thackeray took a dig at the statements of ministers
Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘The Finance Minister does not talk about inflation and falling rupee, but tells the benefits of question paper leak. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh should protect the country’s borders, but he is defending Pradhan. Nitin Gadkari is now talking about ethanol. Uddhav said that this is going to be the next big issue.

How was the Mumbai protest?
There were protests in Mumbai too like Delhi but the Mumbai Police did not lathicharge the protesters. People celebrated the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Raj Thackeray sarcastically said that this is the difference between Delhi Police and Mumbai Police.
