Meta AI New Agentic Features Update: Tech giant Meta has introduced new agentic features for its AI assistant. With this new update, Meta AI will not be limited to just answering questions, but will also be able to complete complex multi-step tasks on behalf of users. The company has said that these features are based on its powerful ‘Muse Spark 1.1’ model. The feature is currently available on the Meta AI app and meta.ai in select countries, while it will also be rolled out on WhatsApp in the coming weeks.

There will be no need to give repeated instructions

According to Meta’s blog, “Meta AI is now working on your behalf.” With this new feature, users will not have to repeatedly give the same instructions to the AI, but can directly assign tasks. AI will be able to perform research, collect information and complete various processes automatically according to users’ commands, thereby saving a lot of time.

Daily updates, scheduling and research will become easier

With the new update users will be able to get daily or scheduled updates from Meta AI. This AI can provide daily briefings based on the calendar, alert about scheduling conflicts and send necessary summaries at scheduled times. In addition, users can set weekly meal plans, new sneaker launches or regular updates on specific topics. Meta AI for research will gather information from the web, research papers and communities to prepare summaries in 1 place.

Reports and presentation slides available in 1 place

Meta further stated that users will be able to convert AI-generated information directly into presentation slides. If the tone, focus or structure of a report or presentation needs to be changed, revisions can be made with real-time notifications. All files generated by AI, such as reports, presentations and training plans will be saved in 1 place, so they can be easily shared. Users can continue to use incognito mode for private chats and general shopping suggestions.
