NDA will make strategy in monsoon session: Important decision will be taken in ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting

New Delhi, 27 July. The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is holding a ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting on Tuesday (July 28) to decide the strategy for the monsoon session of Parliament. This meeting of the NDA parliamentary party will be held at 9.30 am on Tuesday in the GMC Balayogi Auditorium of the Parliament Library Building (PLB). Invitations have been sent by the BJP Parliamentary Office to all the NDA MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Purpose of ‘Mangal Milan’

‘Mangal Milan’ is actually a new form of weekly strategy meeting of the NDA parliamentary party. In this, the functioning of the House, countering the attacks of the opposition and better coordination between the coalition parties will be discussed. The meeting is taking place at a time when the government is trying to pass the anti-copying law (Public Examination Bill). At the same time, the opposition is cornering the government on the issue of NEET paper leak and alleged police action against student protesters.

Apart from the strategy for the remaining days of the monsoon session, five important bills are likely to be discussed in this meeting of NDA, which include: –

  • Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2026
  • Supreme Court (Number of Judges) Amendment Bill, 2026
  • Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill, 2026
  • Prevention of Insults to National Honor (Amendment) Bill, 2026
  • Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2026

MPs from all allies including Shiv Sena, TDP, JDU, LJP will attend the meeting, so that coordination and effective role can be decided in the House. This meeting is considered important for NDA to conduct the remaining part of the monsoon session strongly.
