Big decision of Bihar government! All cases of student movement will be withdrawn, arrested students will be released

Bihar Student Protest FIR Withdrawn: Bihar government has taken a big and sensitive decision regarding the recent student movement. According to the official notification issued by the Home Department, the students arrested during the agitation will be released with immediate effect. Besides, the process of withdrawing the cases registered in cases related to the movement has also been started.

Students, their parents and various student organizations have expressed relief from this decision of the government. The administration has been directed to ensure the release of the students as soon as possible by completing all the necessary legal formalities.

All cases registered before 6 pm on 26th July will be returned.

The Home Department’s notification said that all FIRs, complaints and legal notices filed in cases related to agitation and demonstrations before 6 pm on July 26 will be withdrawn. Apart from this, instructions have been given to immediately release all the students arrested, sent to jail or kept in custody during this period.

Decision taken keeping in mind the future of the students

The government has clarified that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the future and career of the students. According to the notification, no further punitive action will be taken against any student merely on the basis of participation in the agitation or demonstration.

Student organizations expressed relief

After this decision of Bihar government, student organizations and parents across the state have called it a positive step. Administrative officials believe that this decision can prove to be important towards restoring trust among students and reducing the recent tension. On the other hand, the process of release of students lodged in jail has also been started and necessary instructions have been issued to the administration of the concerned districts.
