Yogi should learn from Jantar Mantar Mehbooba Mufti furious over the action on Jauhar University, said- this is an act of hatred and revenge

Mehbooba Mufti Slams Yogi Government: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly on the target of the opposition in the Mohammad Ali Jauhar University case located in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti has criticized the Yogi government.

Mehbooba Mufti has called the UP government’s action on Jauhar University an act of hatred and revenge. Mufti has advised CM Yogi to learn from the student movement going on at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Mehbooba Mufti told about the feeling of revenge

Mehbooba Mufti shared the post of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on her X handle on Sunday. Protesting against the state government’s action on Jauhar University, Mufti wrote that destroying an educational institution like Jauhar University shows nothing but a feeling of hatred and revenge.

He further wrote that Yogi should learn from Jantar Mantar and see how the youth of the country are rejecting the politics of hatred and division.

Akhilesh also opposed the action

Former Chief Minister and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also come out against the UP government in the Johar University case. Protesting the government’s action, Akhilesh wrote on his X handle, ‘Protect education’ movement will also win! Our MPs and MLAs are involved in encouraging the students sitting on strike to save Johar University of Rampur.

UP government accused of discrimination

Accusing the state government of discrimination, Akhilesh said that when the BJP government can regularize other constructions on the basis of the mandate of the UP government, then why not Jauhar University, why discrimination with Jauhar University? We all demand that BJP should not throw the future of the youth in the fire of its revenge.

Administration ordered demolition of 38 buildings

Under the zero tolerance policy, the government is continuously taking strict action against violation of land use rules and illegal construction in UP. Under this, Rampur Development Authority has taken major action in the case of buildings constructed without the approval of maps in the Mohammad Ali Jauhar University campus and has issued a demolition order.

This action has been taken under Section 27(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Town Planning and Development Act, 1973. In the order, after detailed hearing and examination of documents, 38 buildings constructed in the university campus were considered as illegal construction and orders for demolition have been given.
